UYYY.... BATI NA LAHAT! ACTUALLY, 'DI PA LAHAT

For the past month, I have noticed a detente in local showbiz where the two major networks, ABS-CBN and GMA Network no longer trade hurtful words against each other. If there was any, it was only limited to "Eat Bulaga" and "Wowowee". However, recent developments had showed that the network war had thawed...

-"FOR THE FIRST TIME"-
The movie between hot Kapuso property Richard Gutierrez and Mega's Kapamilya daughter KC Concepcion produced by Star Cinema. Shown last week of August.

-JOBERT SUCALDITO AND JOHN LAPUZ-
The two gay hosts belonging to warring showbiz talkshows "The Buzz" and "Showbiz Central" meet up at the birthday party of Pilar Mateo and kissed (literally!) with make up!... I mean... kiss and make up! Occurred last Tuesday.

and the main event...

-JOEY DE LEON and WILLIE REVILLAME-
"Eat Bulaga" and "Wowowee" became a venue for the two hosts to trade barbs against each others' networks, and even personal lives. But after all the trading of barbs... Joey and Willie finally kissed and made up before the people at Embassy where the Supreme Awards was held. My reaction? All's well that ends well.... but the tira will continue...

Actually, I got the prediction right that Joey and Willie's barbs against each other is not really personal as what people think. Willie doesn't have any personal grudges against Joey and so does Joey. And what made me say so? They have one common person linked to them.... none other than...

HELEN VELA (the late great Helen Vela)- Joey's contemporary in radio and television broadcasting popular for "Lovingly Yours Helen" and also Willie's mother-in-law (when he was still married to Princess Punzalan.)

So, what's the moral lesson in the network wars? Never take anything seriously! (Unless you're a couch potato and you're out of touch with reality)

THE TECHNOCRAT

As of October 6, 2008 I was officially assigned to Road Runner National Helpdesk. In short, I became a part of technical department... in short, ako ay naging isang techie, isang technocrat...

What will be the scope of my job? Hmm, interesting to note, well I'm going to do some troubleshooting on the internet, and still answer inquiries about a troubled computer and hard drive.... sounds complicated?

Whatever it is, I'm going to give out my best and definitely earn more. I just recently heard that I'm going to earn a little more.... good buck indeed....

Well, I'm definitely going to miss everyone at Wave 5.1 Time Warner Cable Carolinas, you know who you are guys... but wait... I still have 3 girls from that batch left with me at the NHD....

Definitely, I'm going to make it.
